From the coast to the desert....
i spent last week cruising around the desert on this bike! the sunshine and blue skies were amazing, just what i needed. now back to the coast and it won't stop raining. lots of celebrations this week with my sister visiting...a big night planned at out friends bar tomorrow night. then a fancy lunch with friends on saturday. if the weather improves i might head off for a few days of camping and surfing. best holidays!

Wednesday inspiration...
'Freedom' - Richie Havens

As an artist, inspiration comes in many forms and at times from surprising places. Today whilst watching Tarantino's Django Unchained I was reminded of this song. After an epic road trip out of New York City to visit Woodstock last year I was fortunate enough to stand in the field where this song was performed back in 1969. A powerful moment for a music lover and a reminder that life is good. Freedom, music, art and nature. Simple pleasures not to be taken for granted.

Winter
Winter has well and truly arrived on the Mornington Peninsula.
My old boots are getting a work out on my photography missions.
And my new aztec print coat with (faux) fur hood is my new best friend!
